Warning Orders

Cold War Provost is under 7 days notice to move to Operation Bunker Bash '08 at Kelvedon Hatch. This is a live operation, and traffic control duties may be conducted. All members are, despite the short notice, requested to make every effort to attend.

To be held over the weekend 17th-18th May 2008, this is the third such Military Vehicle & Living History Show to be conducted at the "Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker". Attended by re-enactors and Military Vehicle enthusiasts from far and wide, the event has been a roaring success for the last two years, and Cold War Provost is privileged to receive an invitation to attend.

Cold War Provost may be required, as part of our invitation, to conduct live traffic control duties. If this is the case, British Standard "Saffron Yellow" retro-reflective High-Visibility jackets or vests are to be worn in such duties, rather than the period-correct orange/silver RMP tabbards: This is due to Health And Safety At Work Regulations, the current Risk Assesment, and plain common sense.

Members are advised to take the seven days to check their kit, purchase anything they need in the way of supplies/rations etc, and be ready to assemble at the event by no later than 09:00 17th May 2008 at:

Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker
Ongar Road
Brentwood
Essex
CM15 0LA
