Deployments

Retroactive entry: Cold War Provost deployed to the Southwick Park Open Day recently. A report will appear on the Events Page on tis website in due course.

Exercises

The regular monthly Chatham Militaria Fair Recruiting Exercises will carry on as normal on the second Sunday of each month, unless cancelled through further P1 Orders.

Admin Orders

Group members are reminded that Greenwich Mean Time is back with us again, and as a result, Winter Dress additions are to be included in all Modes of Dress (i.e. add a 'Jersey, Heavy, Wool' and where required Jacket, to all duty orders of dress).

Awards and Commendations

At the r4ecent Military Mayhem 2008 event, Cold War Provost received the "Best Static Display" award, which was received for Cold War Provost by Cpl Ives. Congratulations to David for his hard work and well-deserved recognition!

    (Immediate CPL on the basis of prior regular military service in the RMP).

Warning Orders

Cold War Provost will be attending the following events:

  • Bunker Bash 2009,
    To be held over the weekend of 16th-17th May 2009, Cold War Provost will attend on the afternoon of 15th May, and stay all weekend: Purpose of Cold War Provost Attendance: Live Traffic Control, Training, and display shakedown.

    The event will, as last time, be held at the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker site. Accomodation will be tented, and members should bring full field kit and Barrack Dress.

    The Berlin-style Barrack Dress with White leather cross belt and pistol is authorised to be worn at this event.

  • Overlord 2009,
    To be held over the Late May Bank Holiday in the Horndean Showground, Five Heads Road, Horndean, Hampshire. Cold War Provost is attending to perform a static display.
  • Military Mayhem 2009
    To be held over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd August 2009, at Farming World in Faversham, Kent, Cold War Provost is attending (1) to defend our reign as 'Best Static Display', and (2) to perform a static display.
